Green Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie
A green smoothie with spinach, ginger, flaxseed and banana — packed with anti-inflammatory nutrients and fibre.
Ingredients
- Large handful of baby spinach (60g)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 200ml oat milk or semi-skimmed milk
- 1 tbsp almond butter (optional)
- 3-4 ice cubes
Method
- Place all the ingredients into a blender.
- Blend on high for 60 seconds until completely smooth.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately. Add a few ice cubes if you prefer it colder.
